11th International Workshop on Warm Dense Matter 2023 in Awaji, Japan!

Welcome

We are pleased to announce the International Workshop on Warm Dense Matter 2023, to be held June 25-30, 2023, at the International Conference Center, in Hyogo, Japan.

This workshop will be an excellent opportunity to discuss recent works and prospects in warm dense matter physics/sciences. Unfortunately, the long struggle with COVID-19 has continued, limiting our scientific activities for more than two years. Here, the prestigious meeting in the research area will be restarted in a face-to-face format. Please check the calendar and join in making WDM2023 a great success!

11th Workshop

This workshop started with International Seminar on Warm Dense Matter in Vancouver. Then as a series of workshops, the 2nd to 10th, located in Vancouver (2000), Hamburg (2003), Vancouver (2005), Porquerolles (2007), Hakone (2009), Pacific Grove (2011), Saint-Malo (2013), Kurashiki (2015), Vancouver (2017), and Travemunde (2019).

The 11th workshop will come back to Japan. Invited, contributed talks and poster presentation sessions will be organized. The workshop aims to allow in-depth presentations and facilitate interactions between experimental, computational, and theoretical efforts in the warm dense matter physics/science area. We also plan a conference dinner, half-day technical tour, and excursion during the workshop.
